Transitioning to roles as an HR Specialist at Oxfam and HR Generalist at UNOPS, Hougy continued to excel. Her consistent excellence was evident in her ability to secure top talent through adept supervision and administration.

Hougy, an Afghan newcomer to Canada, holds a Bachelor of Political Science (International Relations) from Kateb University, Afghanistan, officially recognized by World Education Services (WES) in Toronto, emphasizing her commitment to academic excellence and professional growth.

Beyond her professional and academic accomplishments, Hougy is a passionate advocate for women’s rights and an active member of the Afghan Women’s Network. Her dedication to this cause became a lifeline as the threat to her life compelled her to leave her beloved homeland.
