Furniture transforms houses into homes, Buying furniture is one of the biggest expenses a refugee may incur. Help us help them furnish their first Canadian home.
How It Works

Gather Information
- Photos: Please send us clear photos of the items you wish to donate.
- Contact Details: Include your address, key contact name, and phone number.
- Availability: Let us know the date when the items are available and any deadlines for removal.

Item Acceptance Criteria
- We only accept gently used, culturally appropriate items.
- We do not accept items that are too old, damaged, worn, or unsuitable for our families.
- For hygiene reasons, we only accept new linens, bedding, and mattresses.

Pick-Up Information
- If items need to be picked up, there is a small fee to cover the cost of truck rental, gas, and newcomer honoraria.
- Our pick-ups are conducted by volunteers and newcomers who are experienced but not bonded.

Important Information
- We are very particular about the quality of items we accept to ensure they meet the needs of the families we serve.
- At present, we are unable to offer tax receipts for donations.
