- Maintain an up-to-date volunteer database, including contact information, skills, and availability.
- Keep new and existing volunteers informed about the organization's mission, values, and ongoing initiatives.
- Match volunteers to opportunities that align with their skills, interests, and availability.
- Ensure volunteers understand their responsibilities and provide the necessary training and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated.

- Collaborate with the fundraising team to plan and execute initiatives to meet financial goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated for their support.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives.

Position: Volunteer Program Coordinator
Location: Remote
Commitment: Flexible, 5-10 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Exercise leadership skills by heading up any of our service groups, such as the drive team, furniture team, hotel team, or education team.
- Collaborate with key volunteers to plan and organize services and activities for our programs.
- Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure program tasks are filled and volunteers are engaged and supported.
- Schedule and facilitate team meetings, providing motivation and guidance to volunteers.
- Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and reporting problem areas to strengthen our programming and improve service delivery.
