  2. Maintain an up-to-date volunteer database, including contact information, skills, and availability.
  3. Keep new and existing volunteers informed about the organization's mission, values, and ongoing initiatives.
  4. Match volunteers to opportunities that align with their skills, interests, and availability.
  5. Ensure volunteers understand their responsibilities and provide the necessary training and support.
  6. Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated.

  2. Cultivate new fundraising and partnership opportunities with individuals, businesses, and organizations.
  3. Collaborate with the fundraising team to plan and execute initiatives to meet financial goals.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated for their support.
  5. Assist in organizing and coordinating fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives.

Program Coordinator

Position: Volunteer Program Coordinator
Location: Remote
Commitment: Flexible, 5-10 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  1. Exercise leadership skills by heading up any of our service groups, such as the drive team, furniture team, hotel team, or education team.
  2. Collaborate with key volunteers to plan and organize services and activities for our programs.
  3. Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure program tasks are filled and volunteers are engaged and supported.
  4. Schedule and facilitate team meetings, providing motivation and guidance to volunteers.
  5. Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and reporting problem areas to strengthen our programming and improve service delivery.
